The current exhibition features acrylic artist Maureen Ukrainec-Broman from Shebandowan. Having been born and raised in Thunder Bay, Maureen had the opportunity to immerse herself in Northwestern Ontario’s natural environment. She shares that living on Shebandowan Lake is “being surrounded by the wonder of mother nature, constantly inspired by breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and the changing of the seasons.” Winter’s snow-covered trees, spring and summer’s bright greens, and autumn’s vibrant reds and golds have cultivated Maureen’s passion to have the viewers of her art awaken to “senses and feelings” in response.
The Pictograph Art Gallery is pleased to present Maureen’s exhibition until Saturday, November 14. The gallery is open from Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to three and is located in the lower level of Voyageur Mall.
